Owner and Managing Director

Ben is the Founding Owner and Managing Director of Findlay Roberts. Ben founded Findlay Roberts on the belief that the Life Insurance industry would benefit from a more specialised recruitment service from people that truly understand the industry. It is Ben’s viewpoint that recruitment can be taught, which lead him to instill the philosophy of hiring respected insurance professionals with credibility and well established networks.

Ben has more than a decade of experience in the Australian Insurance market. His recruitment career has been built upon knowledge and insights developed from within the insurance industry. His career to date has seen him work with a leading Life Insurer and a global broker, before moving on to manage the Australian arm of a leading Global Insurance Recruitment firm.

Ben is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of Findlay Roberts’, and recruits across the disciplines of Product, Sales & Relationship Management, and Actuarial.

When he is not recruiting Insurance professionals, Ben can be found on the golf course, working to reduce his scratch Handicap.

Ben is a keen student of the Industry and holds a number of Industry qualifications, and is an active member of The Institute of Actuaries, and ANZIIF.
